I love a good story. Listening to people’s experiences, discovering how they think about things, and what makes them tick, is just plain fun. As a result, I have a wide array of friends that are always introducing me to new things—something I love. Most of my friends are compassionate, honest, hilarious, and laid-back. They are also constantly striving to be better people and learn from their experiences. They’re dreamers that hide it with humor or cynicism—an endearing combination!
While I love learning and trying new things, I don’t have tons of hobbies. I spend most of my time hanging out with my friends and working. I read or journal when I need to decompress. I have a tiny (and embarrassing) addiction to MTV realities shows—yes, I know I am 27 and I have resolved to be more discerning in 2008 and spend more time being productive after work.
Some people have detailed lists of what they are looking for in a date. I definitely don’t. I would like to meet someone who knows who he is and can admit he isn’t perfect. I would love to meet someone who doesn’t take himself too seriously, but does know how to be serious sometimes.
Basically, I would like to meet someone who enjoys a good beer, a good story, and good people.
