It's somewhat impossible (not to mention intimidating) to try to summarize yourself in a few hundred words, let alone what you're looking for in another person. We like to think in dichotomies, absolutes, and extremes, when we are generally anything but.
For instance, I could say that I am outgoing. But sometimes I am not. I could say that I am fun. But I’m sure that sometimes I’m not. And even if I were to say that I was generally outgoing/fun/interesting/exciting, would that be in comparison to myself, like the amount of time I was outgoing exceeded the amount of time I was not, or would it mean that in comparison to others, my proportion of outgoing-to-not was higher than the mean outgoing-to-not ratio?
So basically I'm not good enough at this to write my personality as a few adjectives strung into a sentence.
At any rate, I think it's best if you're not entirely sure who you are, because even if you think you know yourself inside out, inevitably something or someone comes along that makes you rethink if you ever really knew yourself to begin with.
additionally, i think a lot of the time you don't know what you're looking for until you find it. that being said (and now I sound like a hypocrite), things i look for in another person are wit, sarcasm (but not in excess), and a good sense of humor. i'd like to meet someone that's fun to hang out with, and can carry on a decent conversation
