I am small town girl in a big city. I feel lost here, and the people I have met, I don't connect with. I feel my values differ enormously from those around me: I don't care about money, or trucks, or big hair. I just want a simple, happy existence, and I'd like somebody to share the simple things with. I want to go out to concerts with that person, and someone to have a couple drinks and a game of darts with. Someone who will listen to me harp on about poetry and language because it is so important to me. I want someone who understands my urge to be near the mountains, the way I feel I need to see it all and do it all while I'm here on this earth. Someone who appreciates the little things in life. Someone who appreciates the silences between words, and someone who doesn't mind talking too much about anything and everything. I don't believe in love at first sight, I believe it is something that grows between two people over a period of time.
