"I want to talk about me"...not really, but here it goes. Being from upstate NY, I love VA's weather. If I sometimes miss the snow, the skiing, and the skating, I get over it when I think of spring actually coming before June. I love sports, both playing and watching; a little beach volleyball is my idea of great afternoon... sun, surf, and friends. I think there is nothing better than good conversation and good friends. (oh and a bottle of wine). My degree was in philosophy so I am always up for a good debate (It might have something to do with being Irish as well.)I am outgoing, like new experiences and people, and as I am pretty independent, I am looking for someone to share a life with, not to take over. Reading is a favorite past time, and I like to curl up in a hammock in the sun with a good book. Pretty much anything in the sun makes me happy. I am a closet convert to country music (shh.. I know I am from NY), but love all music from opera to alternative and pretty much everything in between. I love concerts, dancing, wineries, and Sunday football games. I am really looking forward to seeing some good outdoor country concerts this summer. I have a huge family (no, really you probably know someone I am related to) and a great group of friends. I am looking for someone who has commonality with me and is willing to have a conversation about just about anything. Someone who is confident and knows who he is and is up for whatever.
