I'm a country girl at heart, trapped just outside city limits. I love the outdoors, animals, and getting my hands dirty. There's nothing more relaxing to me than cleaning a horse's stall. I want a real man's man; one who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and actually KNOWS how to do things. I'm tired of guys who pretend to know things about fixing cars and appliances and building things, when they're only trying to impress a girl. I want a guy who actually knows what he's talking about, isn't blowing smoke, and is willing to teach me things. But I also want someone caring. I don't expect a guy who always shows his feelings, because I don't always show mine. If I haven't scared you away by now, then I'll tell you this; I might come across as the 'rough, redneck girl', but let me assure you, I'm not. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's just not me. I can be tough at times and quiet, but I can also be soft and sensitive. I don't know another girl like me, and I'm not bragging about that because I'd like to have a girl-friend with my same interests, but I don't have one. All of my friends are either 100% country, or 100% city, no in-betweens like me. I can put on old clothes and go muck out a stall and get muddy and filthy and then come inside, clean up, dress up and head to a symphony concert. I'm not afraid to work on things or help build things. I don't believe in repairmen or mechanics. I think they're a waste of money unless the job is really big. I'd rather change my own oil, and rotate my own tires, and unclog my own drain as have someone else do it. I like mending fence when it needs done and I enjoyed helping build our barn. I'm not afraid to tackle a bale of straw or hay, and even though I might not actually be able to lift it I'll still give it a try. I love the feeling of getting something accomplished, doing actual, physical work. I guess I just want a guy who thinks the same way.
